Listowel Memorial Arena
Lessons take place at the Listowel Memorial Arena located at 380 Maitland Ave N, in Listowel. Upon completion of the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex lessons will be moved to our new facility located on Binning Street West in Listowel.

At the Listowel Skating Club we strive to offer our skaters the best experience available to them through having 3 different coaches on the ice to help, encourage and teach the skaters everything they need to know.
We offer all levels of Skate Canada’s CanSkate program as well as the StarSkate programming.
Tina Burnett is our head coach. She is a certified Primary STARSkate Coach and is also CANSkate certified. This will be Tina’s 7th year coaching figure skating; she coaches all skating disciplines, FreeSkate, Skating Skills and Dance from the Preliminary to Gold levels as well as the CanSkate program. As a skater, Tina was a double Gold skater, reaching Gold level in both Skating Skills and Dance and reaching Sr. Silver in FreeSkate. Tina has also had experience competing at a national level, with the London synchronized skating team.
Sasha Shannon has been coaching with the Listowel Skating club for a number of years and is a certified Primary STARSkate Coach as well as CanPowerSkate certified. Sasha has been coaching for 13 years, with the last 9 years with our club. Sasha coaches all skating disciplines, FreeSkate, Skating Skills and Dance from the Preliminary to Gold levels as well as the CanSkate program. As a skater, Sasha was a double Gold skater, reaching Gold level in both Skating Skills and Dance.
Krista Wheildon is our third coach. She is a certified CANSkate, Primary STARSkate as well as a Special Olympics Competition Certified Coach. Krista has been coaching for 21 years with the last several years as a freelance coach with the Drayton Skating Club. Krista coaches all skating disciplines, Freeskate, Skills and Dance as well as the CanSkate program. As a skater, Krista achieved her Junior Silver Freeskate, Junior Silver Skills, Senior Silver dances and 2 Gold dances.
